| The Optical and Floppy Drives are mounted in a square Enclosure lined with soft foam. The foam is cut slightly oversize, so that the drives compress it when you insert them, and the foam will then hold the drives in place.
So you just side them in.
The Enclosure is square so that you can arrange the external drives in either orientation to provide for Tower, RackMount or Desktop placement of the case. Packing Pieces and Blanks are supplied to finish the Enclosure: these also provide additional support for the drives.
The result is that you can easily slide each Optical or Floppy Drive forward to create additional working space in order to connect up power or data cables. |
